How to Silence text messages on iPhone? If you are using Messages on your Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max, 12, 11 and X, iPad, or Mac, you’re certainly aware of how fast you can become inundated with message notifications, particularly if you’re a member of a group message. Fortunately, you may easily silence certain messages to avoid being bothered.

Messages are fantastic, especially when combined with text forwarding on your Mac or iPad. It’s extremely beneficial for sending out group messages. If you and your friends or family all have an iPhone, you can communicate freely, and your messages will be collected together, allowing you to respond to everyone as a group.

Unfortunately, if everyone in the group responds to each other throughout the day, your device will quickly get overburdened with notifications. However, utilising the Do Not Disturb mode, you may quickly silence a group or even an individual message. It’s important to note that this isn’t the same as turning on DND for your device, which would turn off notifications for everything at once.
