Step 1: Log in to Facebook
Fill out the necessary text boxes at the top of the Facebook home page with your username and password. If you don’t already have a Facebook account, you’ll need to get one and then add some friends before you can create an event.
Step 2: Click “Events” on your Facebook home page
If you haven’t already, there should be a little icon titled “Events” on the left side of your screen, behind the “Favorites” column.
If you don’t see the “Events” link, simply start entering the word “events” into the top-of-the-screen search field, which is pre-filled with the wording “Search for people, places, and things.” In a drop-down menu below the search bar, look for an entry named “Events” with the caption “App” – click it.
Step 3: Click “+ Create Event” to invite people to an event on Facebook
Look for a grey button at the top right of your Events page, just to the left of a grey button titled “Today” and above a little calendar. Click on it!

- Cancel the event. Get rid of the event page. This sends an automated notification to your guests.
- Disable Notifications. This event’s notifications are disabled, so you won’t see anything about it in your feed, etc.

How to invite people to an event on Facebook in Firefox
Step 1: Log in to Facebook
On your home screen, under the “Favorites” menu, click “Events.” Click “Create Event” from your Events page. Give your event a name (for example, “Joe’s Birthday Bash”), a time and place, a privacy setting (invite-only, public, etc.), and, optionally, a description. To create your event, click “Create.”
Alternatively, put “Events” into the top-of-the-screen search bar. Near the top of the list, a link to your Events page should appear.
Step 2: On your event page, click “Invite Friends”
A popup window will emerge with all of your friends’ names highlighted and checkmarks next to them. Normally, you have to tick each box separately to invite pals – even if you’re inviting hundreds! This approach, on the other hand, will swiftly and effortlessly invite all of your pals with no mindless clicking on your part.
Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the window
It may take some time for the scroll bar to scroll all the way down. This is the most time-consuming element of the procedure, but it’s required since your friends won’t appear in the list unless you scroll to their names. Because this approach checks the boxes of each entry in the list, if all of your friends aren’t listed in the list, they won’t all be invited.

Step 1: Access the Chrome Web Store
