The new M3 CPUs offer significant improvements over the previous generation on the inside, while the new laptops (M3 Pro and M3 Max choices) come with a Space Black option, which is darker than Space Grey and less of a fingerprint magnet.
According to Apple, the 16-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Pro can last 22 hours on a single charge, but the 14-inch variants have a lower battery and the M3 Max models will cut battery duration in half for both computers.
The new MacBook Pro laptops include the same I/O as the M2 models, including three Thunderbolt 14 ports, an HDMI port, an SD card reader, and MagSafe connection charging. Meanwhile, the screens are believed to have a brightness of 600 nits, which is 20% higher than the previous version.
