Windows 10 Upcoming Update Sees Microsoft Ditch The Password. For the previous few centuries, logging into your computer using a password has been the normal way to log in. Windows 10 Upcoming Update Sees Microsoft Ditch The Password
A future update to Windows 10 will allow customers to log into their pcs using a password, according to Microsoft. Instead, Microsoft will provide alternative login choices for clients, such as facial recognition, biometric safety, or PIN code (which somehow feels like a password).
While the password has been around for some time now, it can be clunky and it can be difficult to memorize if you select especially complicated passwords. People also tend to reuse their favourite passwords, which implies they could also use them to access your other accounts if a hacker found out your password.

That being said, only a tiny amount of Windows Insider members can access this fresh password-less function. Microsoft expects to roll out to more users in the future, so if you’re part of the Insider program, maintain an eye out for it.
