Instagram adds non-profit donation stickers

Instagram adds non-profit donation stickers. A redesigned camera is also being rolled out by the social network. Raising money on Instagram for your favorite non-profits will be much easier starting today — if you’re in the U.S., that’s it. The Facebook-owned platform has introduced a stories donation sticker, which even links directly to the accounts of non-profit groups.

It is as easy to slap it on a story as using, say, the location or the #hashtag sticker. Just tap your sticker tray icon, choose an organization to support and use the tools of the platform to blind your campaign. You can see how much you have raised by swiping up the story, and the full amount of what you see will go straight to the non-profit that you choose.

In the coming weeks, the platform will also be rolling out a new camera design with rearranged features to make it more accessible. While without a photo or video you can already post Stories, the new Create Mode makes the process simpler.

It will give you quick access to effects and interactive stickers, and this feature will be available worldwide unlike the Donation Sticker that is only accessible in the U.S.
